Quranic Verses

O mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i. e. the Qur'an, enjoining all that is good and forbidding all that is evil), and a healing for that (disease of ignorance, doubt, hypocrisy and differences) which is in your breasts, a guidance and a mercy (explaining lawful and unlawful things) for the believers. (10:57)

Hadith

996. `Umar bin Al-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Verily, Allah elevates some people with this Qur'an and abases others.''[Muslim].

Ramadan Iftars 2010

Hope this e-mail reaches you in the best state of health and imaan! Alhamdulilah, Ramadan is right around the corner, and the fall semester is about to start soon as well. Insh’Allah GSU MSA will be providing free Iftars on campus from Monday to Thursday.

It will be held in the "Panther Place" Area on the 3rd floor of the University Center after Maghrib salat in the Prayer Room, University Center 409.

Monday, September 6th LABOR DAY; No School and No Iftar!
